We’re getting very excited at Mulberry Alpacas as the British Alpaca Society (BAS) National Show draws closer!
The show will be held at the International Centre in Telford on 15th and 16th of March, and marks the first ever alpaca
show in Shropshire! More than that, it promises to be the most prestigious National Show of all time.
The show will draw entrants nationally and there is substantial international interest. The judges for
the halter show will be Australian judge, Jenny Jackson, and British judge, Nick Harrington Smith.
The British Alpaca Society Show will host many activities and exhibitions, including a Fibre Zone, which will showcase many
ways of working with the outstanding luxury of alpaca fibre.
Attendees have the chance to pick up some useful tips during the numerous seminars taking place on both days of the show.
Opportunities for hands-on weaving, spinning and knitting experience will also be available. There will
be children’s activities; all of which prove to be a really good family day out.
Saturday evening will see the Champagne Reception and Gala Dinner when Jenny Jackson will be
